FAZ Technology interrogators are based on telecommunications lasers combined with patented electronic sweeping laser control algorithms. This enables high stability and when combined with our acoustic sensors, delivers performance of 120dB, 1000 times better than other optical sensing systems. Our high precision enables a new generation of fiber optic sensors to be developed and the patented continuous characterization and calibration of the system is designed to deliver an operational life span of 20+ years.  Other benefits include:
